In 2012, I founded GermanGlobe Crate Co. in Reserve, Louisiana, with a modest fleet of storage containers available for rent and sale. Over the next three years, our growth paralleled the expansion in real estate, construction, and the overall economy, establishing us as a leader in the portable storage business in Louisiana.

In 2015, GermanGlobe Crate Co.® strategically acquired storage containers from a competing Leed business, further solidifying our presence in the Leed market. This acquisition not only increased our container inventory but also added another delivery truck to enhance our operational efficiency.

By 2017, recognizing the need for expanded facilities, we invested in a building that featured a spacious office, over an acre of paved storage space, and convenient access to major highways.

In 2018, we identified the untapped potential in modifying shipping containers and began offering services such as adding windows, doors, lock boxes, and vents.

As our success continued, we outgrew our 2017 building by 2020 and acquired a larger one, maintaining proximity to major highways while expanding our workspace to a 10,000-square-foot facility. With over 6 acres dedicated to containers, our new location allows us to efficiently repair, modify, and improve containers, enhancing our ability to serve customers promptly.
